CCARC Amateur Radio Exams
The Capital City Amateur Radio Club offers Amateur Radio Volunteer Examiner (VE) exams about every 6 weeks. Exams are offered for all amateur radio license classes with in-person sessions given in Helena. We do not offer remote sessions. The exams utilize web-based exams given on touch screen tablets provided by the exam team.
A schedule of exams can be found on hamstudy.org. Registration is required for an exam and registration can be made by clicking on the desired exam session. Registrations are required at least one week prior to the scheduled exam date. If no registrations are received by that deadline, the exam will be canceled.
Exams are also given in Bozeman, Great Falls and Missoula.
